Original post made on Oct 8, 2012

Art Dao, executive director of the Alameda County Transportation Commission and Kevin Walthers, president of Las Positas College, will speak Wednesday at the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce's "Pleasanton 2015" forum. Dao will provide facts about Measure B1, a proposal on the Nov. 6 ballot that would raise the current half-cents sales tax for transportation by another half-cents. Walthers will talk about Measure I, a parcel tax also on the Nov. 6 ballot for the college. The meeting will be held from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Chamber's offices at 777 Peters Ave.
