Fmr. Nat'l Security Advisor of Communist Romania (now a proud American) on the "Occupy Movement" (A Sobering Read)

Original post made by A Sobering Read, Amador Estates, on Nov 4, 2011

This author finds a 'stunning' similarity between the American Democrat Party's "Change" and the lyrics to former Communist Party's "Change" that he wrote for Romania's President Ceausescu.

Land o goshens, Jimbo, I'm so moved by this post. (Though some lefties will probably say that the "two death sentences" left the dolt all but brain dead.) In fact, it moved me to think about the similarities between OWS and the Polish workers' democratic movement of a few decades ago. And then I started thinking about the civil rights movement in the United States. And the free speech movement in the 60's. But these are probably just more examples of communism's inexorable crusade to eat our children, right Jimbo?

Kkkarl, your OWS movement comrades are spoiled products of an entitlement class of people who can't or won't work to bettrer themselves. They'd rather drag everyone else down to their level than pull themselves up.

When Sarah Palin says "banks are bad, government is fat" the tea party stands and applauds. When a group of dems say "banks are fat and the government is bad" ... well that's communism. Look banks pay billions of dollars in bonuses, unworthy bonuses. CEO's make 100's of millions of dollars, unworthy millions. The repubs aren't showing they have the substance to win in elections ... they are not the force they think they are. Sitting on the sidelines blasting away with irrelevant rhetoric is just a waste of breath. Think it out. Think it out ... then blurt.

I am with clink on this one, Jimbo. Obstructionism is not leadership, filibusters are not fixing anything, and the GOP has run out of good candidates with good ideas.

We may not have the old JFK Democrat Party, but drawing parallels to Ceausescu lacks any basis in fact.
