Pleasanton Lacrosse Club gets Stealth-y

Original post made on Feb 13, 2008

Tuesday's Pleasanton Lacrosse Club practice wasn't ordinary by any means. Two players from indoor lacrosse team, the San Jose Stealth, took a couple of hours out of their day to show the youths techniques that have made them such successful athletes in the increasingly popular game.

Great job Stealth! While the name says San Jose, the Stealth offices/headquarters are now in Pleasanton! Its great to see professional players reaching out to the local community. What I love about Lacrosse is that it is definately a sport played for the love of the game, and the percentage of players that give time back to the game is huge! Professional Lax players definately don't make enough money to enable them to make a living so all of them have "real" jobs. They still manage to find time to give back in support of the game they love!

Thanks Colin and Jeff!

Great. When will the pros start 24x7 practice using the new sound system on the Amador Sports field?

Something to look forward to perhaps?
