Local Author Douglas Kendall's Posts Removed?
Original post made by Stacey on May 27, 2009
I'd like to understand the editorial reasoning behind removing Mr. Kendall's posts in light of allowing other similar posts. Furthermore, I encourage the PW to tap into the local community by considering exploring with Mr. Kendall his own humor column.

Articles by Livermore's Independent were posted over the weekend for their relevance to our city and they were also removed. Credit was given to the authors...
I guess the almighty editors don't like what they don't start...
Suddenly "big brother" seems more aptly to apply to the press than the government. The press gets freedom of speech, apparently lowly citizens do not. This is a blog!

I was the "big brother" who took down the posts. This is not a blog --- this is a forum where multiple voices are to chime in on a subject.
Mr. Kendall's submissions are great, but not really appropriate for the Town Square forum. More appropriate for a blog.
I'm hoping Mr. Kendall will contact me about doing a blog.

But what about the commercial posts that Stacey refers to? They seem more appropriate to the paid advertising section.
