Gov. Schwarzenegger things we are "confused and angry"
Original post made by Ken in South Pleasanton on May 18, 2009
Yes, we are angry but we are not confused.
We are angry that our legislators have not performed their duties as our elected officials and that they have led us into repeated budget impasses over the last few years. Unbridled spending by our legislators cannot continue. Yes, we are mad about this. But are we confused? I don't think so. We know that we are going to the polls on Tuesday because our legislators lacked the backbone to do what they were elected to do...lead. We understand fully that the propositions are an attempt to place the blame for our budget crisis on the residents of California. We are the ones the legislators and governor will blame when the propositions are not passed. This is the most blatant example of scape-goating I have ever seen. Yes, I'm angry. No, I'm not at all confused.
We have the power to implement CHANGE. CHANGE the paradigm of Sacramento that assumes Californians will continue to accept increased taxes to support the special interest leaches that have attached themselves to our legislators. Hold our legislators accountable for the fiscal health of our State. Don't allow them to bully and frighten you into voting for these propositions because if you do they will only come after you for more and higher taxes in the near future.
VOTE NO AS MANY TIMES AS LEGAL IN TUESDAY'S ELECTIONS AND LET OUR LEGISLATORS KNOW WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THEIR SHENANIGANS IN SACRAMENTO.

I think it quite interesting that the Governor would be surrounded by the firefighters union as they as well as the government workers uniton, police, and teachers are direct reasons why we are in the fix we are in because of these lavish retirement pensions which none of us get. Arnie then got on a private plane and flew to Washington DC to meet with the Messiah and ask for money to save California because he is aware that all of his propositions are going down in flames and the populace think quite poorly of him as well as our great elected leaders in this state. We need to vote all of them out as they have chased all of the business out of this state with their high taxes. We need to file for bankrupcy and get all of these people out of office. I find it fastinating to have all of this discussion of measure G when the house is falling down.

Why should we pass tomorrow's State propositions when they're not going to fix the problem anyway? Schwarzenegger told us that if the Props pass, there will still be cuts. Clearly the props don't fix the real problem.

I feel this is a type of government blackmail...if you don't vote for this watch what we cut!
Government needs to run like a business...or households...when the money runs out...stop spending!
