That's what government does. It takes the windfall it receives and finds a way to spend it that doesn't proportionately increase the services/benefits to taxpayers. Did you remember getting more bang for your buck in government services during the boom years?

The phrase 'Shared Sacrifice' was first mentioned by a member of the PUSD Budget Advisory Committee. It has been used by other PUSD and Measure G supporters, most recently by Dr. John Casey at the 4/7 Budet Workshop, and by Debbie Look at the 4/8 Measure G Town Hall meeting.
