Town Square

Singing from Romania

Original post made on Oct 1, 2007

Pleasanton and Romania are miles and miles apart geographically speaking, but in other ways the two cultures are closer than one might think. This connection will be highlighted tonight at the Celebration Christian Center in Livermore and later this month 6:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Pleasanton Presbyterian Church, 4300 Mirador Drive, as the Caminul Felix choir, a branch of the Caminul Felix Villages located in Oradea, Romania, will perform. What makes this choir so special is that it is comprised of orphans who now live in the Caminul Felix Village.
