Dead Bird in Yard-Advice Sought

Place your hand in the first plastic bag.
Using your protected hand, pick up the bird.
Pull the bag off your hand and over the bird.
Knot the bag to prevent the dead bird from falling out.
Place the first bag into the second bag. Knot the second bag.
Place the bag with the dead bird into your outside garbage can for removal.
Wash hands thoroughly with soap and hot water, even if you know you didn't come in contact with the dead bird.
Or call Animal Control and they might have suggestions.

Thank you Stacey. I'm scared. One of it's wings in now poking out of the little hole in the bottom of the flowerpot. Which means the thing is moving in its dead state. Rigor mortis, I suppose. Great.
