This morning, instead of waking up to The Doors' "Break On Through," I woke up to my kitten gnawing on my hand. Front paws clutching my forearm, little claws dug into my skin, teeth dragging along my knuckles, and her looking at me with a face that said, "Why aren't you awake yet? By the way, this hand is mine now. Deal with it."
