Great an attorney. Government definitely needs more attorneys...

@ Mitch - I generally share your sentiments about lawyers, but Mrs. Baker is also a pro-education Republican and an mom. Given the fact that education budgets have been decimated, California UC and CSU tuition has climbed exponentially, and local school funding has been cut and class sizes raised under California's one-party Democrat rule - maybe it's time to vote for someone not so beholden to public employee unions and special interests that she'll fix California's education system and bring down red-tape barriers to job creation. Wouldn't it be nice if teachers got everything they needed and prison guards had to hold a bake sale to buy new equipment?

If her clients are small businesses and non-profits it sounds like she's walking the walk of making the state a better place, as opposed to most Democrats at the local level who are beholden to organized labor and developer interests.

If shes Republican thats good enough for me. The Democrats are all about big labor and corruption and killing babies and making sure people stay on welfare. The Republicans are all about freedom and liberty and helping everyone become millionares.

What a brave soul. A Republican running for office her the Socialist Republic of The San Francisco Bay is truly up for a challenge. Maybe she will have a chance since the left wing loon politicians have done such a great job of running the country and the state into the ground.
