The Pleasanton Rage Under 15 girls beat the ACC Mavericks 3 to 1 last Sunday (May 5th) to win the Northern California State Cup Soccer Championship.
In last Sunday's play at Turlock, the ACC Mavericks scored first and held on to that lead going into halftime. The Pleasanton Rage Premier team came out of halftime and proceeded to score three unanswered goals in the second half to take the Northern California State Gold Cup.
The Pleasanton Rage U15 Girls road to the state cup started on 4/13 with a win over the Alliance FC Devils by a score of 3 to 1 in Morgan Hill. The Rage Premier girls returned to Morgan Hill the following day 4/14 and faced the San Ramon Azuri which resulted in a Pleasanton win by a score of 3 to 0. By winning those two games in Morgan Hill The Pleasanton Rage Premier girls earned a showdown on May 5th with the ACC Mavericks for the playoff final.
