Measure AA, tax extension proposal, passes easily with 74.5% of favorable votes

Pleasanton and Alameda County voters approved Measure AA yesterday, a countywide measure that extends a half-cent sales tax that provides funds to help the county's public health system and for community medical services for low-income and uninsured residents.

Why was this measure even on the ballot. It doesn't expire for 5 more years yet people didn't read the fine print to see this measure didn't need to be on a ballot for at least 3 more years. This measure was a waste of time and money right now.Things will change over 5 years . It would have been better to wait longer to see if changes are needed to this measure before extending it just to extend it.

There is an excessive compulsion in California that necessitates our unborn great grand children to pay our way.
