Good. Of the various liquor stores around town, that place was always a creepy dump.

When I was underage in the 80's, I used to buy at Perry's and at Kavanagh's. There was also a convenient asian owned drive thru liquor in Dublin that sold to anyone. It seems that some things never change.

DO you know how much easier life would have been if Perry's sold to us when we used to hang out in the parking lot every weekend? Kids have it so easy these days.

I'd like to know how the "facts" of this story were determined. Was there a police sting?

The guy who owns the place had a massive stroke after a heart attack in his mid 50's about two years back. His wife who was a stay at home mom has been running the place since his stroke because it is their only source of support. She is usually in there or one of their two sons. They trade off taking care of the father. Very sad on so many fronts.

Funny how some countries in Europe sell alcohol to 17 -18 year olds and probably don't make it a big deal. Heck! Perry's liquor is probably owned by immigrant Indians or Asians . Who probably doesnt have the same laws back home that America has.

This won't be a problem much longer. In another year or two, California will follow Washington and Colorado, legalize pot, and then underage kids will be trying to buy weed instead of alcohol. Problem solved!

Tanner, That's great i remember doing the same thing. The same couple owned the liquor store on main. We also had no problem drinking in the bars. Oh the same asian couple still owns the parking lot and the two buildings next to it. That would be the closed down bike store, apartment above it,and the sushi restaurant.
