As they say, YMMV, or Your Mileage May Vary. Verizon coverage has been great for me, and when I do have a problem with something, their customer service has been easy to get to and have been able to help. Plus they follow up to make sure that the problem that was fixed has stayed fixed.
On the other hand, VZW isn't cheap. For my family plan with three smartphones I pay about $230 a month. T-Mobile offers an equivalent plan for about $100 a month but I don't know how good their call quality really is. Everybody has a story, no matter which carrier they're on. Anybody care to chime in about T-Mobile call quality in Pleasanton and the Bay Area in general?
