Every year Pleasanton's Christmas Parade is held on the same Night as Livermore's Christmas Parade. Since many of us have family and friends living in both cities, and would like to participate in both Christmas Parades, it would sure be nice if one of these cities could change the date of their Christmas Parade to allow attendance and participation in both events.

Hopefully sound and the music during parade will be better taken care of this year. Last year it was sad to see scattered groups of people walking in silence, as the music could only be heard right by the main stage in front of Museum.
Not sure if it was only our impression, but that parade was far from joyful and exciting, something one would expect the Christmas Parade to be...

I'm with you Parade. Out of nine different Christmas parades I've attended with my children, Pleasanton has the worst organized event. Way to many Realtors and City Officials. We need more children with more homemade floats and less businesses taking a walk with friends promoting themselves. Discovery Bay ranks #1 It winds throught neighborhood streets with nothing but kids and homemade fun. Sorry, but it's just old and outdated like candy cane lane. Have fun and Merry Christmas!!
