Wait To Go To Eddie Papa's
Original post made by Gladys on Apr 13, 2008
Had reservations, and we were seated upon arriving but waited 10 minutes before anyone came to the table, waited another 20 minutes to get drinks. After ordering our meals we had 4 different servers try to serve us someone else's order.....terrible.
Go for lunch a very different experience. If your wanting something other than pizza after your little league game and it's Saturday night go to Eddie Pappas. It's noisy, lot's of children. Avoid seating near the windows next to the paint store.........it's where all the servers line up to get their orders -it's noisy and distracting.

I am also not impressed, my 2 year old sons food was radio active it was so hot and my gumbo was stone cold and bland. My wife said her food wasn't anything to write home about either. The place it self is boring and lacks any atmosphere and very loud. I give it under a year and there will be something else there

I've been there twice for lunch. We ordered different items. It was perfection. It was delicious mahi mahi, with crushed peanut crust cooked to my perfectiona along with purple & white orchards to eat if you wish. I chose to put mine in my hair. Yummy vegies cooked just right. To top it off with the special margaa riter. Service was very attentive. The two ladies next to us come twice a week and get something different every time. They are big supporters of the place Share your desserts.Huge portions make it fun for all...they are HUGEEEEEE.yum

Have been to the restaurant many times and always have left pleased. Owned and operated by a Pleasanton resident, it is easily the most child friendly place in town with attentive service, staff who actually cater to the kids, great food, and let's not forget the cute surprise of cotton candy with each guest check. Based on the weekend crowds, it clearly will be around for the long haul
