Councilman Jerry Thorne will be sworn in tonight as Pleasanton's new mayor along with two newly-elected members of the City Council, Karla Brown and Jerry Pentin.

The Pleasanton community will be well served by your new mayor, Jerry Thorne. He has been a great councilman, vice mayor and friend. With the addition of Jerry Pentin and Karla Brown, well it just couldn't get much better for the future of Pleasanton. Good luck to all three and congratulations!!
