I am dismayed that I cannot vote for Jerry McNerney this year, and I'll tell you why. I am a new transplant - I used to live in Lodi.
I cannot say loudly or firmly enough that we need someone who not only represents every person he meets and knows about, but will truly stand up for women's rights.
Jerry McNerney's opponent? A young graduate who is pro-life.
Meanwhile, Jerry McNerney has supported the Lily Ledbetter Act, VAWA, and most importantly, is vocal on securing reproductive rights for women, access to reproductive services, a proponent for a woman's right to be in command of her own body, and overall equality for women.
We will be set back 50 years if we elect young Gill, or we can encourage everyone we know to back Jerry McNerney, a true advocate for women;s issues.

Mikie, read the first amendment and then come to grips that this whole made up 'war on women' is manufactured.
When you are eligible to have an abortion, then you can add something constructive. Until then, lets not pretend anyone will be taking away a women's right to kill her unborn children any time soon. Find something else to PMS about........
