Anyone know what the fireworks show at the fairgrounds was for?

My wife called someone at the fairgrounds and was told that a construction company put them on as part of a private picnic, I suppose for their employees.

It was a private party according to Pleasanton PD.

The fireworks were put on by DeSilva Gates for their 75 Anniversary Company picnic Saturday at the fairgrounds.
