I've taught English at Las Positas College for 15 years, and I’m proud to be associated with the excellent faculty, staff, and administrators on our campus. Though we have experienced severe budget cuts from the state that have resulted in layoffs and reduced offerings, our staff maintains a positive spirit and commitment to our students. To support the college, my wife and I donate annually to the Las Positas College Foundation. Financial support from our surrounding communities is vital during these times of budget cuts. Thanks to the Weekly for highlighting our community college!
