'Oklahoma!' now playing at the Bankhead is more than just 'OK'

Tri-Valley Rep's production of "Oklahoma" at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore this afternoon and through Aug. 5 does exactly what entertainment is supposed to do: transport us to another world, in this case the Oklahoma territory in 1906 that was on the threshold of statehood.

my wife and I took my mother in-law the opening weekend and it was a wonderful performance. My mother in-law was singing the tunes for days afterwards.
