Police identify body in brush at Dublin BART station

The Alameda County Coroner's Office has identified the woman whose body was found in the brush near the East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station parking structure Thursday afternoon.

I believe this will be the second suicide in as many months at that location.

Very sad to read this. A family must be in much pain tonight.

(Dan, I think the other tragic event took place at the West Dublin station back at the end of May.)

I think it was the second suicide at this same location. Any chance BART can secure the parking garage so this does not happen.

My heart goes out to her family and loved ones.

This was not a suicide. I know the family. She would never choose to go down that path especially when she has a wonderful family.

I agree w/the previous comment. I knew Joy as well & instantly felt, & still feel, like this was not a suicide. Not only was she so full of life, she loved her spouse & son way too much to ever do something like this. This world lost a rare & amazing person & she will forever be missed by so many people across this country whose lives she touched so dearly.
