Dog attack
Around Town, posted by Francine, a resident of the Country Fair neighborhood, on Jun 29, 2012 at 1:26 pm

Anyone know any of the details of a pit bull that attacked a small poodle being walked by a lady and young girl on Via Del Ceilo on Wednesday evening?

Heard the pit bull was owned by a dog trainer. Guess they forgot to train this one.

I didn't hear about this one, but it makes me wonder if that isn't yet another case of a dog not on a leash. It seems like there are more and more dogs running free all the time. Dog owners don't believe the law should apply to them. Until the day their dog bites someone, or gets run over by a car.

The dog was not on a leash. It was in the owners garage with the owner.

The owner could not stop the dog and in fact was bit by him/her.

Dog trainers that can't control their dogs does not make good neighbors.

So apparently a viscious pit bull attack is not worthy of news coverage in the PW?
