This does not include retirees and people who have given up on looking for jobs. The Obama idiots do not want us to know the true numbers this close to an election. With over two years of unemployment benefits extended to those looking for work these numbers are much worse than they appear. We as a country need to start looking at the truth rather than what the liberal media provides....we are not sheep. If you simply read these types of articles and except it as fact you are exactly what Obama is looking for..a non thinking sheep who needs o be led to the food bucket.

Our Lord and Savior Obama wants unemployment because it increases profits for the wealthy. That's why the Republican Party is the party of the people. Liberalism = Communism.

Truth, sadly you're right. Our US secy of labor (who wants to unionize all federal employees in second term, like w as a worked for as a mexican youth in central valley) will be feeding us info with a 'spin' until Nov election.
At this time CA is sitting at extremely high 10.5% UNemployment....rather hard to make 'good' news out of a number like that! CA is higher than most of the country, so don't confuse national news, that doesn't apply to CA.
