Kids and sports injuries
Sports, posted by For the public's information, a resident of the Another Pleasanton neighborhood neighborhood, on May 14, 2012 at 9:01 pm

I know, I'm going to be censored by Jeb Bing or one of the other editors before tomorrow (I know since they have deleted a few very relevant posts lately because the information did not originate from "their" hub of the world), but I thought I'd share some information that I saw on a local news source that might be of great interest to parents of kids in sports around town. (Again, Mr. Bing/Ms. Editor, I have no ties to the other news source, and I'm only trying to pass along information I've found to other parents and citizens. If you remove this, it's really quite petty of you!)

A head injury seminar will be held on Tuesday, May 15 at the Hilton Pleasanton.

Some of us more than others know of the dangers of head injuries. If your child plays any kind of contact sport, you may want to attend to get some valuable information.

The event is free for athletes and coaches. Cost to adults is $25.

Check out the attached flier for more info. Click here for reservations.
