Crimes & Incidents, posted by Editor, Pleasanton Weekly Online, on May 2, 2012 at 9:25 pm

A 24-year-old man and his 16-year old female accomplice face felony charges in the beating and robbery of an acquaintance at his Pleasanton motel room that led to a high-speed chase on Interstate 580. The incident began a little before 3 p.m. May 1 at Tri-Valley Inn and Suites in the 2000 block of Santa Rita Road, when the 19-year-old victim let the pair into his room.

So the 16 yr old is perfectly willing to attack and rob someone but we protect the useless criminal by not naming her. I would like to know if it is a neighbor so that I could make sure the little creep stays away from my house.

Another fine parenting job from Pleasanton parents.

PPD just chased them out of town, they didn't catch him.

Make them work for their money.

That motel seems to make the news when bad things happen in Pleasanton.

Truth,

"a high-speed pursuit at speeds of up to 90 miles per hour up I-580 westbound and onto Castro Valley Boulevard, where the officer terminated the pursuit."

Perhaps it would be more appropriate to congratulate the Hayward officer who overhead the radio calls and the Alameda County Sheriff's Deputy who spotted the abandoned car, which led to the arrest, for their professionalism and tenacity.

Hey Mike- How about you try being grateful that law enforcement worked as a team to catch a fleeing felon from your city. Who cares if it was Pleasanton PD or Hayward PD or the Sheriff's Department that caught the thug. If Pleasanton PD had not broadcast the description of the suspect and the vehicle for Hayward or the Sheriff's Department to hear, the bad guy would not have been caught.

So, I echo "Truth's" assessment of PPD's professionalism and tenacity. They have the courage to do what you are too scared to do, Mike.

Pete
