Who's Protecting Our Environment? Around Town, posted by Dave, a resident of the Birdland neighborhood, on Apr 17, 2012 at 7:19 pm
Just another example of people's indifference for our environment.
In Dublin on Dublin Blvd about 5:40PM on Tuesday, and the person in front of me in his Hyundai Sonata (Comment removed by Pleasanton Weekly Online staff for containing unverified or personal information.) TOSSES OUT HIS WINDOW, HIS CIGARETTE BUTT. What is the matter with buffoons like this? I think they still put ash trays in vehicles, don't they? Talk about the height of laziness and total disregard for OUR environment!

It is I, Casanova Frankenstein!
Good thing you were there to pick up that cigarette butt! Thanks, amigo!

Well, of course that's the answer. I had the police do a traffic break so I could pick up somebody else's garbage. Get serious! Better answer would be to somehow have that person doing community service picking up litter that has been casually dumped by other like mannered buffoons. Why does one have to come up with idiotic remarks like Cassanova has when there is a real problem with people littering. Come on Cas, add something of value, not the drivel you have put out.

That's cool, amigo. So what was it you were saying about laziness and total disregard for OUR environment?

Dave, you got the license number as well as the make of the car. But what kind of cigarette was it? If it was, say, a Camel nonfilter, then it probably burned all the way down. Only if it were a filtered cigarette would there be a huge problem for our environment and the street sweepers who are paid to sweep the streets clean.
