She should teach a course on how to build a political career serving the interests of unions and developers - which is basically the m.o. for all East Bay liberal politicians.
Of course, when she runs, she'll tout how well Pleasanton does in the East Bay - never mind that she's an anti-business candidate who:
> Watched city employee budget pensions spiral out of control
> Presided over the expansion of low-income housing, with the city actually recommending more than state lawsuit-mandates
> Prohibited new business from opening in Pleasanton
> Installed her husband as the chamber head so she could have more control in stifling business
I hope someone good runs against her - unfortunately, most people in the gerrmandered district just vote for whomever has a "D" next to its name.

Might explain why she never did much to help the ordinary (non- developer) citizens of Pleasanton, but had input on national concerns (instead of minding Pleasanton's business.)

Where do we all get this stuff?
Close your eyes. Add ample doses of right wing hatred and more than a tad of indigestion acquired in response to the trolls, gollums, union sock puppets, socialists, Marxists, and condescending (educated) elitists who occasionally check in. Read a steady diet of right wing blogs and nothing else. Watch Fox News. And there you have it! It is so. You get the corrupt liberal hippie in need of a makeover, who hasn't passed the bar exam and who finagled her way into the ultra liberal Stanford as a part-time extended studies lecturer, who is bought off by developers and unions, who trains falcons to kill innocent animals, and who has ever done a single positive thing for the citizens of Pleasanton. Are you suggesting something is wrong with that?
