Store managers are paid $30k? Probably union. That's why this country is going to hell in an hand basket. No store manager is worth even half that. I don't like the idea of workers living where I live. Brings down the neighborhood.

Steven, are you serious? Like the police really didn't know that was a cadillac? Why on earth are you complaining it took them about a week to make the arrest? I'm sure it was not something they could just go knock on the door and arrest them for. There had to be many hours involved and a lot of investigation. You are thankless and naive, bottom line they did their job and the suspects got caught.

"There had to be many hours involved and a lot of investigation." Yeah, and my dollars against your donuts that most of it was in overtime to these overpaid prima donas. Don't even think about criticizing them becuase they'll go crying to their union. We need a privatized police force. Not one that milks taxpayers for inflated overtime records. The police chief is making more than most computer scientists. Which is a crime.

I'm with you about getting rid of the police chief for starters. Tax payers are'nt supposed to be about making their public servents rich. How many extra parking tickets do they have to give out to make up for his quarter mill a year?

I am completely stunned that we have people complaining about the PPD and asking for privatization due to a successful completion of a burglary case.. I don't know what would have satisfied the complainers... its one thing to have rational discourse and discussion but to have a rant about unions and pay based solely on conjecture and hyperbole doesn't do anything but force people to instantly dismiss the writer.
