Dozens of cars hit in Val Vista Sunday night
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Sharon, a resident of the Val Vista neighborhood, on Apr 10, 2012 at 10:30 am

There were dozens of cars burglarized in Val Vista on early Monday morning. They hit about 3 streets and a dozen houses I know of on my daughters street.

Lock you cars and keep your ears open.

Watch out for a blue newer truck that was spotted on one street casing the area the day before and was found on the street that night.

They got in my wife's unlocked car and ransacked it but nothing of any value was taken (probably because there wasn't anything of value in her car). I have a security light over my garage door that I had turned-off some time ago but is now back on. I have great neighbors that communicate with one another and keep a watchful eye out for unsavory characters, especially those door to door solicitors that are out in the middle of the day when no one is home. Considering a video surveillance camera.

Both Sutter Gate and Laramie Gate streets have been hit in the last couple of nights with tires slashed. NOT FUN!

Keep an eye out for that as well.

Anyone find any scatological remains in the back of their pick-up? Just askin'. Somebody'll have a lot of splainin' to do if it's what I think it is.
