Save our Water Slides? Meeting on March 15

Shadow Cliffs Water Slides

Tomorrow the East Bay Parks Operations Committee is having a meeting during which they will review a recommendation on whether to refurbish, replace, or shut down the Shadow Cliffs Water Slides. Based on reading the report it seems they might be predisposed to closing the slides rather than either of the other two options. For anyone interested in keeping the slides open, this might be your last and best chance to be heard. Here are links to the agenda and the inspections/recommendations reports:

A little more notice would have been nice. Its 8:25 pm on 3/15 and this is the first I am hearing of this.

I just happened to be reading the story last night and after a bit of googling I found this info and posted it here. I, too, had no advance notice.
