Ongoing in-service reminders about professional bearing and responsibility are clearly needed. Keep letting these people know what we hired them for and, given the many temptations for wrong-doing in positions of authority, what we expect them not to be doing.

Chief Probation Officer David Muhammad had called for reform of the Alameda County Justice System and probably made a few enimies in the process. I am sorry to see this, a lot of people hoped he could make some needed changes.

If her assertions are true, and perhaps they are, why would she agree to meet with him again after he "assaulted" her at the Marina? That would have been the time to file charges. Sounds to me like she wasn't giving him the clear message that she wasn't interested. Many people date their co-workers. That "unwanted" needs to be clearly communicated. I would be the first one to want to hold a harasser accountable, but in this case, there may be more here than meets the eye.

I think every one should hold their judgment until the investigating is complete. Why would you wait 9 months after this happen to file a law suit. And after the first attempt on the alleged why did she continue to see him. If she was afraid for her Job that would have been the best time to file a suit, not 9 months later. Sounds like a scorned woman to me.
