It is amazing that this guy could be released by the Warriors and the Rockets and almost by the Knicks. It just goes to show how coaches even at the highest level make very bad decisions based on what they expect to see. They pre-judge.A lot of times a player can get lost in a system that is not good for his skill set.I do not understand how D'Antoni who coached Nash for all those great years did not see Lin possibly flourishing in his system. It will be interesting to see what happens now with Stoudamire and Anthony returning, but as someone who lived in AZ during the 3 glory years of Nash and watched about 200 games,I think Lin will do well in that system.Lin is quicker than Nash and little bit more explosive, but it will take a few years to come close to Nash's skill level and BB IQ.I do believe he has a chance.Anyway it is great to see and I really do not think he is a one week wonder.

Gee...unless I am mistaken I believe there is a topic listed under the name of sports.I hope that the experience of reading something about sports was not too traumatic for you. There are things in life besides complaining about the city council.

Hoops, I hear you man. Tell 'em to lighten up. Sports is a great outlet for all of us to momentarily escape in.
And yes, a good coach who encourages and a system that suits the player does great wonders for that individual. That's the standout waiting to "bust out". Glad he is on the right team and with a coach that believes in him. Go Jeremy Lin and anyone else who is in a similar boat! Keep your head up, keep grinding and your moment will come. Believe in yourself even when nobody else does. Remember: Can't keep a good player down!!
