Granada Men Handle SRV Wolves
Sports, posted by EBAL BB 2011-12, a resident of Livermore, on Jan 20, 2012 at 11:29 pm

Granada basketball is definitely on the upswing! Tonight the Granada Matadors easily handled the SRV Wolves in their own Danville, CA gym 46-42.

Top Matador performers were Jake Salinas #25 (12 points), and Tlyer Pagget #41 (13 points). Jake Salinas also displayed a great defensive effort tonight in helping to neutralize SRV's top scorer, Logan Louks #15, limiting him to 8 points after he lit up Livermore with 45 points, earlier this week.

The SRV Wolves led by sophomore point guard Jerry Karczewski #5 (self-proclaimed phenom) was held scoreless in the first half. His quick and nimble 5'2" 110lb. frame had difficulty in finding the basket all night long.

Granada's next test comes this Tuesday against cross-town rival Livermore.

The Matadors are not letting their guard down, but they are also not expecting much fight from the listless Cowboys.
