What is a home holdup? You mean a robbery of a person or a home invasion? And "police know Dillon on sight".... what does that mean? This is straying even further from a professional newspaper.

Very odd indeed, poorly written to say the least.
Now let's take into account the following:
"Police received a call about the robbery at about 10:17 p.m. Jan. 8; no additional information was available from police, although the report indicates a suspect has been identified."
Police "reports" are NOT available to the public prior to
conclusion of the investigation and after the case is closed.
A "report" is evidence in an open case.
Finally, the folks talking about how they work so hard to live in such a "nice" town, that will be not such a nice town after low income housing..... Wake Up....

If you people seriously believe the Pleasanton Police Department is making up a "Holdup at a home" because "Contract negotiations...must be heating up" you're hopelessly ignorant. I suppose PPD made up the shooting at the nightclub called Club Neo on Saturday night, too.

Its pretty clear Peter hasn't needed PPD to do anything complicated or that would require them to write a report. I have personally seen them flat out ignore a crime because they felt it. It's a joke. Ten years ago, thus was not the case. But the current PPD is not what it used to be. I will leave it at that do they can't figure out who I am to retaliate.

Mary and Linda B.- What are you two women talking about!? Did you talk to each other to see who could post the most off-topic comments? Go back and re-read what I posted. You are proving my point.
