Hope Hospice names new chief executive

Larry R. Lakes has been named chief executive officer of Hope Hospice, succeeding Helen Meier, who retired June 10 after serving the organization as executive director from 2002 to 2011. Lakes moves to Hope Hospice from his current position as executive director of a Catholic Charities division in Sonoma County, the largest homeless services provider north of San Francisco and south of Portland.
