Amazing what perseverance and great people can do when they set their minds to it. Congratulations to both teams and the two cities for coming together and saving money while enhancing their capabilities!

Dublin contracts with the Alameda County Sheriffs Department and the Alameda County Fire Department for public safety at a significant discount in total cost compared to Livermore and Pleasanton. If you look at the unfunded pension liability (and healthcare liability) for Dublin Public Safety you won't find anything. If you look at the unfunded pension & healthcare liability for Livermore & Pleasanton you will see hundreds of millions in debt.
