There is an organization in Concord called Christmas For Everyone that provides hot food, warm clothing, sleeping bags and presents for kids on Christmas Day. Here is their website Web Link. I've been working there for about 12 years and they really do a lot of good.

If you would like to drop the sleeping bags at Valley Humane Society I would be willing to deliver them for youJDS

Thank you Thomas. Just to be clear - there are 3 sleeping bags - they are used but in excellent shape and have been stored in plastic. Previously used camping. Is this something you would still be interested in?

You can take them to Valley Bible Church. On Saturdays, they have an outreach to the homeless in the area.

The church is over by the Hilton and Club Sport.

The Livermore Homeless Refuge uses and needs good sleeping bags for the refuge. It is open on rainy nights or nights when the temp drops below 40. You can contact Sandra or Wes at 525-1200. Thank you for offering your no longer used camping gear for the homeless.

The best way to benefit society is to work as hard as possible at pursuing your own personal gain. Charity weakens society. If it isn't profitable, don't do it. Read The Fountainhead. It will change your life.
