Veterans Day parade starts at 1 p.m. today in downtown Pleasanton

Mostly cloudy skies are expected but probably no rain when Pleasanton's 15th annual Tri-Valley Veterans Day Parade kicks off at 1 p.m. today with this year's tribute going to the men and women in the Army.

We have seen the Pleasanton Fife & Drum Corps (Young American Patriots Fife & Drum) perform many times -- they are excellent and such a nice reminder of how this great nation started!
