The Oakland protestors are degenerating into promoting anarchy.

What they are doing is tearing down society and being disruptive. They are being disruptive of people who have nothing to do with the protestors' "cause" whatever their "cause" turns out to be.

The Port of Oakland brings in food, clothing, etc. for everyday people, including for everyone in the so-called "99%" group.

It is looking more and more as though the "Occupy" people are really only interested in protesting for the sake of protesting, and interested in promoting chaos.

The problem with all this is that the chaos they are creating is hurting ordinary people. It is hurting truck drivers, port workers, shop owners, etc. It is hurting the 99%.

Protestors: In case you hadn't noticed, the 1% are not down at the Port of Oakland. The 1% are not in downtown Oakland. The 1% are not affected by what you are doing. You are hurting the 99%.

Not only are the protestors hurting the 99%, they have been duped by the wealthy organizers who are behind the "Occupy" movement. The movement is being promoted by big labor unions who have lots of money, and by left wing billionaires like George Soros, and by the Democrat party.

Member, you were almost starting to sound rational until you got to the last sentence of your post.

Sam and others, you need to look below the surface of things. Look beyond what people want you to believe. Read and watch more than the traditional mainstream sources like CNN, MSNBC, ABC, and CBS. They have a bias, which should be quite obvious. FOX and talk radio also have a bias, so you need to read and listen to the various points of view, identify the bias, and then identify the part of each message that is factual rather than opinion.

What do you disagree with in the last paragraph of the earlier post, and what is there factually to corroborate that?

Dear Member...George B. Shaw said that the best thing to do with good advice is to pass it on!

Shutting down the port of Oakland means no Chinese junk being imported and no convoys of trucks on i580. What's not to like?

My gosh, we might actually have to start making stuff in the USA.

Sounds good to me :-)

Member is correct. The Alameda County Democratic Party has officially voted to support the Occupy Oakland movement, Sam.
