Should be interesting to see how much money the Lins, James Tong and Marty Inderbitzen contribute to Mayor Hosterman's re-election campaign this fall.

Probably not as much as Brozosky took from developers in the last election.

What LeGras failed to articulate is that the opening brief was due July 5 originally. At that time appellant requested a delay and the new date was set to August 5. Now that time has passed and the court issued its cancellation of the appeal as of August 25.

If purposely delaying, why are the appellants doing so? LeGras seems to imply because they are a busy law firm. Believe that?

There are most likely two scenarios. The appellants are going to let the appeal die. Alternatively, they are purposely delaying the appeal for political purposes. Perhaps they want it to be alive and still in play during the election. They don't want any ruling prior to the general election.

So, either they are packing it in, or they are playing politics with it.

We shall see.
