146th annual Scottish Highland Gathering and Games

'Put on the plaid' at the 146th annual Scottish Highland Gathering and Games from 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 3, and from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 4, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds. Tickets are $27 for an adult 2-day ticket or $20 for 1-day; $12 for seniors and youth ages 12-17; 11 years old and under and military are free. Visit [Web Link www.caledonian.org].

Thank you to whoever keeps bringing the International Scottish Games to our town. Great for local business, local entertainment, cultural experience, etc... You don't have to be Scottish to enjoy the many events, dances, competitions, foods, swords, combat, soccer, darts, and all the other fun stuff!
