I sure hope they repave all of it instead of applying the worst patch job known to man. The road has been cut up so many times and patched that it's become a rock crawling event just to drive on Dublin Canyon esp right by the Residence Inn. Also, they need to widen the road to allow for a true bike lane. Does anyone know what the plan is?

Let's hope this is temporary and that we will actually get a functional road after the project is complete.

Remember when the road paving project in your neighborhood would be done in a few consecutive days? Who let this contractor spread themselved thin, all over town, with projects incompleted all over? It has been an inconvenience to say the least. Our street project began a few weeks ago, and is almost complete...maybe next week... The "no street parking" signs go up and then either no one works on the road that day or they show up at 6 pm and work for an hour or two, while you have to keep your vehicle parked a few blocks away on some other street not being worked on. They work two days a week per area for several weeks, at best. They never informed us that the work would take place in this manner. I would never give a contract to someone who works this way, many of our roads around town are not done yet, and the road surfaces leave a lot to be desired in the meantime. I guess I should just be thankful to live in a town that can afford to fix our roads, but I still think the city can do better managing the projects next time.

The place that REALLY needs patching is northbound on Foothill/San Ramon Blvd., in the right lane on the overpass, just before the merge onto 580W. Talk about car-and-bone shattering! But who owns this stretch of the road -- Pleasanton? Dublin?? Or CalTrans? How does one find out and report this?
