Valley Humane wants $125,000 how much is new Exec paid?

The Contra Costa Times reports that the Valley Humane Society needs $135,000 in the next thirty (30) days or it may close its brand new $1.2 million dollar facility:

The article does not say how much the organization is paying its new Execuive Director: "Melanie Sadek, the executive director, who was hired in May", as I believe that this person still owns and runs Murphy's Paws on Main Street. Trust that Valley Humane is only paying this person for part-time work, as she clearly has her time / loyalty split.

Let's see, "Ptown", you make insinuations that the executive director of VHS is overpaid or has her "loyalty split". What facts do you offer us to support your views? You don't know how much she is paid, and you don't offer any examples of how she has a conflict of interest or "split loyalties", whatever that means.

Basically, what you're telling us is "I think she may be overpaid but I don't have any facts or evidence to back this claim up."

All I want to know is who made the command decision to build a brand new facility without having the resources to operate and maintain this new bldg. When completed,not to mention adding to the payroll a new executive director,sounds like somebody has been taking notes from the stateq-spend,spend,spend, pay for it later
