Socialist McNerney Votes to Further Bankrupt America...(Votes Against 'Cut, Cap & Balance')
State, National, International, posted by Chris, a resident of the Amador Estates neighborhood, on Jul 20, 2011 at 6:38 am

Not surprisingly, the Obama & McNerney & Co. continue their WAR against America.

Our (mis-)Representative -- Jerry McNerney -- votes against reducing our massive debt and passing a balanced budget amendment.

By doing so, he is voting to further bankrupt us, our children and generations to follow.

With his vote, he is obviously in favor of MASSIVE tax increases which will further push America over the brink.

Chris,

I'm not sure how to break this to you, but Harmer lost and a Republican will never again be elected to congress in the Tri-Valley(just look at the voter registration and demographics). Get over your sour grapes and go back into your Glenn Beck Doom Bunker.

The alternate plan gives away a MASSIVE tax cut to the wealthy, by bankrupting the middle class.

The proposal is to massively slash all the traditional middle class tax breaks (mortgage interest, charitable donations, etc) in order to reduce the top tax rate from 35% to 29% (on income exceeding $379k).

Bankrupting the middle class does not strike me as an especially good way to get the economy back on track.

Chris, you really need to spend more time comparing the alternatives that have been presented over the last few months before jumping on this bandwagon. You are seriously off base here. The CC&B was a non-starter for all but the extreme right. Get some perspective before taking a swing at the representative that has done his homework.
