First of all, the countries and imperilists involved in the Libyan conflict are aware of who the rebels are. The rest of the sheeple who are shadowed from the truth by powers to be through mass media propaganda and disinformation can find out the true identity of the so called "rebels or TNC" as they are so romantically named, by simple process of elimination.
We can eliminate. quite obviously. that the Libyan rebels are not the indigenous, pro-democracy, fighters for freedom we are made to believe. However, a recent Washington Post article tells a baseless tale of reluctant rebel fighters, sickened by the sight of blood, and hampered by concerns of "families in the way" on the road to Tripoli. This ludicrous assertion is quickly debunked after a Human Rights Watch report, confirmed by defacto rebel "prime minister" Mahmoud Jibril. Indicated that towns seized by these very rebel forces underwent ethnic motivated violence, looting, beatings, detainments, and other abuses including shooting off rival tribesmen's feet.
Next we can eliminate the TNC as repressed multi-tribal group of peace and democracy seeking Muslims. A US Army West Point report concluded the second largest contributor (after Saudi Arabia) to foreign fighters killing US soldiers in Iraq came from Libya's Benghazi, Darna, and Tobruk areas, the heart of Libya's current rebellion.
Also. Any true Libyan "rebels in a country already fighting a civil war within the country would undoubtedly drop their weapons and accept their current government situation before they would appeal to the US for any intervention knowing that would open the Pandora's box and call on the same demise as their neighboring countries.
I could go on but the bottom line is that the so-called Libyan "rebels" are on record having been funded and supported for nearly 3 decades by the United States and Britain in their bid to oust Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi. The most recent rebellion after decades of terrorist campaigns, was literally directed out of both Washington and London via the National Front for the Salvation of Libya, with opposition leader Ibrahim Sahad pleading for foreign intervention against Qaddafi while sitting directly in front of the white house.
It has also been proven that Gadaffi and Lybian terrorists were not responsible for the bombing of the 747 passenger jet over Lockerby, Scotland. And with that proof, Gadaffi had reciently petitioned the US and international council for compensation of loss due to resulting sanctions. And YES return of frozen money assets by foreign banks. Ironicaly only a small portion of the seized assets are accounted for by the US. HmmmmÂ….. go figure!

We as Americans will recognize anyone as the legitimate leader who keeps the oil flowing, the Europeans, France notwithstanding, as well. At the moment what is happening in Libya, as well as most of the Arab nations, is a revolt against oppressive leaders who deny them jobs and the possibility to prosper, therefore we should continue doing what we are doing so that the Arab Spring meets its destiny.
