Town Square Forum category request

Original post made by J Flack on Jul 14, 2011

Dear Editor,

Would you consider adding another category to your Town Square Forum?

Since Pleasanton and California are committed to Energy efficency and Green technologies and services, how about a Green Category? Environmental?

I'm not suggesting a place for people to complain about being forced to use energy efficient light bulbs... but I'd like to ask online readers about examples of houses and lots with grassless or low water yards; effective recycling ideas; fighting insects without harsh chemicals, et cetera.

I'd like to ask some of the people around town whether the solar power investments have been worth it. Probably a few more, but you get the idea.

Thanks

J Flack
