I am not politicizing this tragic event, but I want to say this accident (which can happen to ANY of us or our kids is EXACTLY what health care reform is all about. the United States and South Africa are the only 2 industrialized nations in the world that do not have cradle to grave government sponsored health insurance. Due to a patch of ice on a mountain slope the Cavalli family now has ruinous health care bills they cannot afford to pay. They will be wiped out and their credit scores destroyed due to no fault of their own. We are a better nation than that.
