Quote of the Decade

"Frankly, I don't know what it is about California, but we seem to have a strange urge to elect really obnoxious women to high office. I'm not bragging, you understand, but no other state, including Maine, even comes close. When it comes to sending left-wing dingbats to Washington, we're number one. There's no getting around the fact that the last time anyone saw the likes of Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, and Nancy Pelosi, they were stirring a cauldron when the curtain went up on 'Macbeth'. The four of them are like jackasses who happen to possess the gift of blab. You don't know if you should condemn them for their stupidity or simply marvel at their ability to form words."

-- columnist Burt Prelutsky, Los Angeles Times

This is a list of the list of left-wing loon women in the California Congressional delegation. They are all democrats, but more importantly, they are all certifiable socialist dingbats.

1) Rep. Matsui, Doris [D-CA5]

2) Rep. Woolsey, Lynn [D-CA6]

3) Rep. Pelosi, Nancy [D-CA8]

4) Rep. Lee, Barbara [D-CA9]

5) Rep. Speier, Jackie [D-CA12]

6) Rep. Eshoo, Anna [D-CA14]

7) Rep. Lofgren, Zoe [D-CA16]

8) Rep. Capps, Lois [D-CA23]

9) Rep. Chu, Judy [D-CA32]

10) Rep. Bass, Karen [D-CA33]

11) Rep. Roybal-Allard, Lucille [D-CA34]

12) Rep. Waters, Maxine [D-CA35]

13) Rep. Richardson, Laura [D-CA37]

14) Rep. Napolitano, Grace [D-CA38]

15) Rep. Sánchez, Linda [D-CA39]

16) Rep. Sanchez, Loretta [D-CA47]

17) Rep. Davis, Susan [D-CA53]

This is the list of women in the California Congressional delegation that are NOT left-wing loons.

1) Rep. Bono Mack, Mary [R-CA45]

California has sunk itself by electing left-wing loons to Sacramento. It is also doing far more than its fair share towards sinking the United States by the sending these left-wing loons to Foggy Bottom.

The Republicans in this state have a propensity to keep electing the radical fringe in their primaries. So electable and highly likeable Republicans that appeal to the independents of this state never end up on the general election tickets. That's what happens when politicians are allowed to choose their own voters through the gerrymandering process.

So, the only complaint is that women, no, make that Democratic women, holding political office are "obnoxious"?

Frankly TVPete, you're going to have to dig a little deeper if you think the worst thing to call a Democratic woman in politics is "obnoxious". Strong women in politics, or business for that matter, have long been subjected to the name-calling and labels that insecure men use when they want to denigrate women.

Perhaps you could tell me which one of the women you noted has been convicted of a felony that was carried out while they were in office? Has been tied to political corruption? Involved in a sex scandal? Arrested for drunk driving? Oh, wait! That would be mostly Republican *men* who campaigned on their "family values". LOL!!! Web Link And this list isn't even up to date -- our last Governor has yet to be added.

Yes Billie ... and of course we might mull over that paragon of personal virtue and level-headedness, well at least headedness, of Mary Bono. It is difficult to believe that someone of TVpete's intelligence could have somehow gotten through high school. Gads. What a bowl of soup for brains.

Billie,

The point is certainly not that women in public office are obnoxious, or even Democrat women in office are obnoxious. The point is that the type of Democrat women that Californians are electing to office are obnoxious, clueless zombies. The poster child is Nancy Pelosi.

Ditto Billie,

Yes, I made it through high school. Then I made it through college. Then I received a PhD from one of the top five universities in the country. Then I went out and got a productive job. And, no, I'm not a dingbat lounging on my couch watching Oprah and electing dolts like Nancy Pelosi.

Pete-I think you have your answer as to who elects these dingbats. I still contend there's something in the water in this state. I still have a hard time justifying the study last year that stated liberalism was a mental disorder--that's just too easy an out and doesn't hold these people accountable for their actions. Maybe one of these fine women will require funding for another study to explain their bizarre beliefs.
