SPORTS: Memorial Day win for 'PTown Giants' Sports, posted by Editor, Pleasanton Weekly Online, on Jun 1, 2011 at 7:17 am
The Pleasanton Giants 16U, made up of Amador and Foothill high school kids, went 4-1 to take the first place trophy at the USSSA Memorial Tourney at PAL Stadium in San Jose. The "PTown Giants" beat the Aptos Sharks 6-1 in the final and the California Bulldogs 10-2 in the semifinal.

The kids played so good. They met every challenge and came through in flying colors. We beat teams from Aptos, Watsonvile, Castro Valley and San Jose. We are so proud of them. Go Pleasanton!!

Okay I clicked on the link and figured out this was baseball! Editor - can you please be more specific in your titles so that folks know what the article is about?

You're kidding right? Below the link on the front page it gives a small description of what the article is about and the picture shows a picture of young baseball players.
What did you think the baseball uniforms, description about baseball, etc meant?

hey sorry, I have a dinosaur of a computer and I did not want to click on the link as it takes forever to open plus it sometimes kills my computer and shuts down. which is why it would be great to know what sport it is when someone writes the blurb on it in Weekly (before the link). that's all I'm saying. I'd open it up if it were basketball!
